Visiting a church for the first time can be a trying experience. Where do I go? What should I wear? What time do I show up? What is available for my kids? What should I expect?

Your first visit to Batesville First Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family.

We want you to experience Christ-centered music, relevant preaching, and the friendliest people around!

Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

What’s here for my kids?

There is something special for your children!

Every Sunday service offers a caring staff and safe, clean, facilities for children beginning at age 2.

For older children, there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes.

These classes are staffed with friendly and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

How should I dress?

We welcome you to come in the dress you are comfortable in so the focus is on worshiping our Lord. Some members are more comfortable in a more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable during your visit here at BFC!

Are there services at other times?

Yes. We have a Sunday evening service (completely different from Sunday morning) that begins at 6:00 p.m.

Everyone meets in the Sanctuary.

Again, in this service, you’ll enjoy Christ-honoring worship and a challenging message.

We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for a mid-week Bible study and prayer.

If you can’t be our guest on Sunday morning, we hope you’ll visit us during one of the other services.

I’m Not a Pentecostal… Can I Still Attend?

It is our desire that BFC would be a church for everyone that has a desire to have a closer relationship with God.

You do not have to have a Pentecostal background to come and worship with us.

We are convinced that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it is sufficient to point every sincere person to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
